What costs am I responsible for?  

With generous support from the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation, your flight/mileage, lodging, and event meals are fully covered! You will cover any baggage fees, airport parking and your meals while in transit to and from Bloomington. 

 

Where are we staying? 

The Institute is at the Beta Delta Chapter House! You’ll be assigned a bunk bed—it’s a true sisterhood experience! If you have accessibility needs, please indicate that in your registration so we can coordinate accommodations.

 

When will I know my flight details?  

Flights will be reserved starting March 1. Watch your email closely during these two weeks! We use the info you give us now, so please double-check that your name matches your ID exactly.

 

What if I have a class or a clinical on Friday morning?  

Because the Institute is a cohort-based experience, it is important to be present for the full program. We recommend reaching out to your professors or supervisors now to see if you can be excused for travel. If you absolutely cannot be excused, please list your specific "Travel Constraints" on the registration form so we can coordinate your arrival.

 

How do I get from the Indianapolis airport to the house? 

Don't worry about booking a shuttle or Lyft. IHQ staff coordinates transportation from the IND airport directly to the chapter house for everyone flying in.

 

What should I pack? 

Expect a mix of casual and active! We have optional morning yoga and a team-building activity on Saturday afternoon. Don't forget your walking shoes and, of course, your Alpha Gam spirit. A recommended packing list will be coming later!

 

What happens if I register and then can't make it? 

Your registration confirms your attendance. If you cancel or fail to attend, you will be required to reimburse the Fraternity for costs associated with the Empower Institute. Please consider your registration as the agreement.
