COLLEGIATE AWARDS
Emily Helen Butterfield Outstanding House Director Award
Awarded to the House Director who demonstrates excellence in their support of the chapter, the members and the community. Recipients of this award go above and beyond to create a safe, positive environment in the chapter house that fosters connection and development.
Georgia Otis Chipman Award
This award honors a collegiate chapter that best exemplifies the phrase from our Purpose, to covet beauty in environment, manner, word and thought,” by contributing to the world’s work through an innovative campus or community initiative.
Impacting the World Award
Presented to a College Panhellenic that has exhibited outstanding leadership and dedication in support of positively impacting the Panhellenic experience within their community. This award celebrates our Purpose by recognizing Panhellenics that contribute to the world’s work in the community where they are placed because of the joy of service thereby bestowed and the talent of leadership multiplied.
International Council Merit Award
Presented to the collegiate chapter that has made an extraordinary contribution to an individual, organization, campus or the Fraternity throughout the biennium.
International Council Recognition Award
Presented to a collegiate member who has demonstrated an outstanding achievement over the course of the biennium.
Inspiring Women Award
Presented to a fraternity/sorority campus professional who has provided outstanding inspiration to collegiate Panhellenic women through personal example of dedication and support of the women’s fraternity experience. This award was created in honor of Dr. Tricia Barber, whose legacy of inspiring collegiate Panhellenic women through her continued service and leadership within Alpha Gamma Delta and the National Panhellenic Conference, celebrates our Purpose of encouraging others to possess high ideals and to attain somewhat unto them.
A fraternity/sorority professional could include, but is not limited to, a Fraternity/Sorority Advisor, Director of Student Life, Dean of Students and VP of Student Affairs.
Marketing Excellence Award
Presented to chapters that best represent the chapter and Fraternity brand in a positive way through all marketing efforts.
Member Experience Award
Presented to the chapter that displays innovation and excellence in programming, engagement and retention to enhance the overall member experience.
Myra Vedder Foxworthy Award
Presented to the chapter that has made a significant, collective impact on its Panhellenic community. Qualified candidates may have proposed, driven forward or actively supported Panhellenic initiatives.
Outstanding Advisor Team Member Award
Presented to the advisor team member who has best supported the collegiate chapter she advises.
Outstanding Chapter Advisor Award
Presented to the Chapter Advisor who has best supported the collegiate chapter she advises.
Outstanding Chef Award
Awarded to the Head Chef that demonstrates excellence in the creation of a robust meal plan that meets the needs of the chapter members. Recipients of this award go above and beyond to support the chapter in the creation of a welcoming dining experience.
Outstanding Volunteer Award
Presented to the Volunteer Service Team (VST) Committee member who has gone above and beyond the duties of her volunteer role.
Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation
Creative Fundraising Award
Presented to a collegiate chapter that demonstrates exceptional creativity in a Foundation fundraiser during the Convention biennium. This award recognizes innovative ideas that inspire engagement and meaningful support for the Foundation.
ALUMNAE AWARDS
Adopt-A-Chapter Award
Presented to the alumnae chapter or club that provides additional alumnae support to an Alpha Gamma Delta collegiate chapter. All alumnae groups are expected and encouraged to maintain some connection with the collegiate chapters in their region; the groups that adopt a collegiate chapter go above and beyond that expectation. Good and consistent communication, along with a variety of activities done with and for colleagues, are factors taken into consideration for this award.
Alumnae Annulet Award
The Alumnae Annulet Award, the highest award bestowed upon one alumnae chapter and one alumnae club by the Fraternity, recognizes those whose accomplishments have been truly exceptional during the biennium. These chapters and clubs have achieved excellence in the areas of collegiate support, Panhellenic involvement, sisterhood, community service, philanthropy, operations and programming.
Helen Mae Clarahan Spiese Alumnae Panhellenic Award
Presented to the alumnae chapter or club that exhibits the best support to an Alumnae Panhellenic.
Alumnae Joy of Service Award
Presented to one alumnae chapter and one alumnae club that have demonstrated outstanding support of community service through hands-on service, fundraising, participation or a combination of such world’s work in the communities where they are placed.
Most Improved Alumnae Chapter or Club Award
Recognizes the alumnae chapter or club that has shown improvement in adherence to Fraternity expectations and the overall member experience provided. Considerations include increased giving to the Alpha Gamma Delta Foundation and collegiate support, improved reporting, communication, recognition levels and programming.
Outstanding Communications Award
Presented to one alumnae chapter and one alumnae club in recognition of their outstanding communication with all associated alumnae.
Outstanding Junior Circle Award
Presented to Junior Circles which have achieved outstanding success in the development of events and programs. The events and programs meet the needs of Junior Circle members and encourage a close and supportive association with the sponsoring alumnae chapter or club, where applicable.
Outstanding Support to a Collegiate Chapter Award
Presented to alumnae chapters that give unselfishly of their time, energy and talents to help collegiate chapters become strong and viable.
Alumnae Social Media Excellence Award
Recognizes the alumnae chapter or club that best represents the association and Fraternity brand in a positive way online. Chapters should demonstrate a positive presence on their website and/or social media through frequent innovative and values-driven posts and updates.
